Big news for Kuwait’s luxury scene: Nobu is coming to town. The global hospitality brand has just announced plans to open Nobu Residences and Restaurant at Hessah Plaza, inside the Hessah District project. This will be the first project by Nobu in Kuwait, featuring 90 upscale serviced homes and a signature Nobu dining experience with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
Nobu is a lifestyle label known around the world for its blend of modern luxury and Japanese elegance. Founded in 1994 by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper, the brand has expanded from Beverly Hills to London, Tokyo, Dubai, and beyond. Now, Kuwait joins the list.
The official opening date hasn’t been revealed yet, but one thing’s for sure: this is a major addition to the country’s high-end landscape.
And who knows? Maybe Robert De Niro himself will show up for the grand opening, following the string of celebrity visits Kuwait has been seeing lately. So far, it’s been that confirmed that Bella Hadid will be in Kuwait on November 7 for a special appearance at the Ulta Beauty launch. Also, Saint Levant will be in town with one-night-only concert on December 5.
