Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) is celebrating Eid Al Etihad 2025 with a series of cultural and heritage events under the theme “United.” As a special part of the celebration, you can visit 16 museums for free on December 2 and 3. From traditional houses and historical landmarks to modern art and maritime heritage, National Day is the perfect time to explore Emirati culture and history.
From Sharjah and Kalba to Khorfakkan, here’s a list of the museums you can visit:
- Al Eslah School Museum
- Al Mahatta Museum
- Bait Al Naboodah
- Bait Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamad Al Qasimi
- Resistance Monument
- Sharjah Aquarium
- Sharjah Archaeology Museum
Hisn Khorfakkan, which is also a part of SMA, will feature guided tours, heritage workshops, and interactive programs like traditional games. Visitors can also participate in the “Love for the UAE” community mural project, celebrating the nation’s unity.

Sharjah Maritime Museum, which also a part of the SMA, will host a special celebration from December 1 to 3. You can enjoy workshops in shipbuilding and rope-making, see demonstrations of fishing tools, and watch live cultural performances. There will also be food corners serving delicious Emirati cuisine!
