If you’ve been looking for an easier way to get around Ras Al Khaimah on weekends, especially if Jebel Jais is on your plans, there’s some good news. RAK has launched a new public bus service called the Yellow Route, connecting Al Jazirah Al Hamra, Al Marjan Island, and Jebel Jais.
The buses operate every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until the end of April 2026.
The route serves well-known hotels and key Jebel Jais attractions such as ADNOC Jebel Jais, Bear Grylls Explorers Camp, and Jais Viewing Deck Park. Check the full route with all stops below (provided by Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority “RAKTA”).
If you’re planning to take Yellow Route, here’s the weekend schedule:
- Al Hamra to Jebel Jais: 6 AM, 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM
- Jebel Jais to Al Hamra: 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM, 9 PM (last bus)
If you’re looking for an easy and car-free way to reach Jebel Jais or move around RAK on weekends, this new public bus service is worth your attention. The trip on Yellow Route promises to be enjoyable and convenient with free Wi-Fi, real-time tracking through the Sayr app, and electronic payment systems.
With so many luxury projects around the emirate, RAK is expecting more travellers, including high-end tourists. That’s why the airport is getting its own VVIP terminal and private jet hangar by 2027. Check it out and stay tuned for more updates and news from RAK.
