If you regularly park in Khor Fakkan, whether for work, errands, or evening outings, there’s an important update to keep in mind. Paid parking hours are changing from February 16, and the new schedule means fees will apply later into the night.

Parking zones marked with blue signs will be paid from 8 AM until 12 AM. The extended hours apply seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays. So if you’re used to parking for free later in the evening, that window is getting shorter.

The fees remain the same:

  • 1 hour = AED 2
  • 2 hours = AED 5
  • 3 hours = AED 8
  • 5 hours = AED 12

Payments can be made through Sharjah’s SMS parking service.

For those who park frequently, prepaid subscriptions may be a practical alternative to hourly payments. A personal subscription covering all public parking areas in Sharjah city is priced as follows:

  • 10 days = AED 170
  • 20 days = AED 290
  • 30 days = AED 390
  • 3 months = AED 850
  • 6 months = AED 1,400
  • 12 months = AED 2,300

There are also options for specific zones and city-wide business subscriptions, with fees depending on the chosen plan.
