Hajj is a journey most people prepare for long before the time comes. If you’re ready to take that step now, registration is open for citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. You can submit your application online through the Nusuk app or on the official website https://hajj.nusuk.sa.

Before applying, make sure you meet the following:

  • You must be at least 15 years old (Gregorian calendar)
  • You must meet the approved health requirements
  • Residents must have a valid residency permit (iqama). Priority will be given to those whose iqama was issued more than one Gregorian year ago

You can read more about health requirements and necessary vaccines for pilgrims here.

Until the end of Shawwal (the Islamic month that comes right after Ramadan) priority will be given to people who have never performed Hajj before. During this period, first-time pilgrims will have the chance to secure their place. After Shawwal, if spots are still available, others who meet the requirements can book as well.

To complete your registration for Hajj online through Nusuk, you’ll need to:

  • Create a personal account on Nusuk
  • Enter your details and confirm you meet the requirements
  • Select a package from licensed companies listed on the platform. Package booking will begin on Ramadan 15 (March 4)
  • Complete payment through the SADAD system. Once payment is confirmed, the Hajj permit is issued

Starting in 2026, Hajj will no longer fall during the intense summer months. It will gradually shift into spring, then winter and autumn seasons, bringing noticeably milder weather. You can check the Hajj calendar until 2050 here.
