Qatar has confirmed the end of remote work for the private sector, with companies instructed to return to standard, on-site operations.

From March 24, private sector institutions are expected to resume their usual working arrangements from the office. Authorities say this decision is intended to support consistent operations and maintain a stable working environment, while also reinforcing productivity across the private sector.

The update marks a return to regular workplace routines in Qatar, with on-site work once again becoming the standard.

Last year, Qatar also introduced another policy affecting businesses across the country, including temporary closures during Friday prayers: you can check the full list and exceptions here.
