Using AI for a business solution often means working with different teams: one to analyse data, another to build models, and another to run them. Sharjah’s new AI Hub brings all of that into one place. It has opened to help companies move from an initial idea to a working solution without splitting the process across multiple providers.

In 2026, the UAE ranked third globally for AI adoption. The newly opened hub supports that level of use by giving companies the tools and infrastructure to build and run AI in one place.

The hub combines technical expertise, tools, and computing infrastructure in one environment. It works with regional and international partners, giving companies access to specialised expertise and newer technologies beyond the UAE.

Instead of splitting the process across different providers, businesses can handle it within the same environment. Sharjah AI Hub offers:

  • AI consulting
  • Research and development
  • Data analysis
  • Building and testing prototypes
  • Using computing power to train and run AI models

Projects in healthcare and finance are already underway. The hub is developing more in manufacturing, sustainability, and smart city systems.

Around 18 government labs will open this year, along with workshops, certifications, and training programmes.

Sharjah is also moving further into AI across different areas. One example is District 11, a new smart business and lifestyle hub designed by AI, which is currently in the works.
