Memorable weekends usually need a bit of planning. Al Khail Square makes that part easier this April. Head to Spring Moments, which is open from Friday to Sunday. You don’t need a plan here. Just come and see where curiosity takes you.

You’ll find several workshop tables here. At one, you may create a bouquet or a floral keychain, another is for mixing a perfume. Or you may even work on a paper vase. In the end, it’s all the same. Everyone leaves happy and with something they made. Workshops start from AED 75.

After the workshops, take a walk through Spring Moments. There’s always something going on: a magician doing tricks, a juggler passing by, someone on stilts or a unicycle with LED lights. There’s also flower-themed face painting, which is usually an easy yes for kids.

From April 10, fun moves up a level with the Splash n Party area opening. If you’ve got kids between 4 and 12, they’ll love running around and getting wet.

When everyone needs a break, you can head to The Arcades nearby for coffee or a quick bite. You’ll find spots like bkry, Home Bakery, Espresso Lab, Barn & Brew, Sidra, Fynd and Sadou there, plus a few smaller pop-ups.

With all the activity around, the day will pass quickly. So if you’re planning a family weekend, Spring Moments is worth adding to the list. And if you’re after more fun in the capital this April, Yas Waterworld has just added 11 new rides, including the tallest waterslide in the country.
