This extended duration is part of a new strategy aimed at attracting more visitors and boosting book sales, making ADIBF an even stronger platform for the publishing industry.

The fair was originally launched in 1981 as “The Islamic Book Fair,” inspired by the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Founding Father. Over the years, it has grown into a major international event, promoting literature, knowledge, and cultural exchange.
