The adventure offers three hiking options for different experience levels:

Three-Day Hike: Highlander Pegasus (February 6-8)

If you’re up for a serious challenge, this trek will push you to your limits as you tackle some of Jebel Jais’ toughest and most iconic routes. The highlight is definitely Wadi Latibah (Stairway to Heaven) and Wadi Ghalilah.

Two-Day Hike: Highlander Orion (February 7-8)

For those who love a good backpacking challenge, this option is perfect. You’ll carry your own gear, set up camp under the stars, and hike across the beautiful Jebel Jais trails.

  • Descent: 1800 m
  • Distance: 23.5 km
  • Difficulty: 6.6/10

One-Day Hike: Highlander Lyra (February 8)

If you’re new to hiking but still want to be part of the experience, Highlander Lyra is a great option. This short but memorable adventure will give first-time hikers a taste of what long-distance trekking feels like, without the intense challenges.

How To Get to Highlander in RAK

Participants are responsible for getting to the event’s starting point, but there’s secure parking available on-site.
