Some people book Emirates Palace for a weekend and think that’s the pinnacle of luxury. Well, it is. But soon, a few lucky people will actually get to call the place home. Sounds unreal? But it’s actually a new project.

A collection of just 35 private mansions is coming to the grounds of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi, marking the first time private residences will exist inside the estate itself. The location is along Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, close to Qasr Al Watan and Founder’s Memorial.

These homes will include private courtyards, gardens, open living spaces and views facing the water and surrounding landscape.

Having Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental as your home address is unimaginable at the moment. The whole project already sounds incredibly grand, and with only 35 mansions planned, there’ll probably be serious competition for those properties.

Completion is expected in 2029.

And Mandarin Oriental mansions aren’t the only headline-grabbing project in the capital. Sphere Abu Dhabi is already one of the city’s most talked-about upcoming launches. And if you look up, there’s a good chance you spot flying taxis being tested in the skies of the capital.
