Kuwait has announced a four-day public holiday to mark National Day and Liberation Day at the end of this month. According to the Cabinet, Wednesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 26, will be official holidays. With the regular weekend falling on Friday and Saturday, this creates a long extended break for many public sector employees.
Work will resume on Sunday, March 1.
This holiday applies to government offices, ministries, and public institutions. Essential services will run with special arrangements.
