Riyadh’s café scene gets a fashionable twist this month, thanks to a limited-time collaboration between SoMatcha and Jimmy Choo. This design-meets-drinks experience is running until 31 May at SoMatcha’s flagship location in An Nada — and it’s turning heads with every cup served.
Founded in 2021 by Yara AlNamlah, SoMatcha has quickly carved out its niche as a destination for matcha enthusiasts. Built around the idea of celebrating matcha’s health benefits and versatility, the café blends a minimalist aesthetic with a menu focused entirely on the green tea superfood.

For the pop-up, Jimmy Choo brings its iconic glamour to the space, transforming it into a fashion-forward café filled with subtle branding details — from logos on the windows and mirrors to stylishly adorned takeaway cups.
The limited-edition drinks menu includes:
- Jomo – a hot matcha drink infused with lavender
- Peachy – a blend of lime juice and matcha
- So Rosy – delicately flavoured with rose petals
- Matcha Affogato – a cool, creamy take on a dessert classic
- Jimmy Choo Ruby (the star of the collaboration) – a layered drink featuring a raspberry base, matcha centre, and vanilla-raspberry foam top

Visitors can also pick up goodie bags featuring curated items, adding a shopping element to the café visit. The visual design of the space makes it a magnet for photo ops, whether you’re into fashion, food, or both.
