Hatta is going through a major upgrade right now, and if you love a good mountain escape, you’ll want to know what’s coming. The whole area is getting changed with more views, more places to explore and more things happening for the community.

One of the main additions is Hatta Dam Amphitheatre. It will stretche 610 metres along the dam and rise 37 metres. The walk takes around 17 minutes, and with six rest points along the way, the route will be accessible for everyone.

The changes also touch community spaces. Work is underway on:

  • Hatta Majlis able host up to 130 people
  • huge wedding hall for celebrations with up to 1,000 guests

A new school is in progress as well. It will accommodate over 1,000 students and include labs, indoor sports halls and large playgrounds. There will also be a 416-seat theatre, a kindergarten section and a medical clinic. This projects marks a solid step forward for families living in the region.

The farms are levelling up as well. Strawberry Farm, Hatta Farm and Leafy Greens Farm are all being expanded, bringing more greenery and more homegrown produce to the mountains.

All these upgrades make Hatta an even better place to visit and explore. And there’s a lot happening in the area! In September, the new sand equestrian track opened. Next month, Habitas Caravan will open with a glamping retreat and wellness programme.

Also, a big change is coming to Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls, which will soon feature retail spaces and restaurants.

Stay tuned! Hatta has a lot more coming!
