K-Pop fans in the UAE are in for something big this August. A three-day K-Pop training workshop is coming to Dee Studio in Abu Dhabi, offering a rare chance to train like the real idols do — and it’s completely free.

From August 20 to 22, the Kpop Academy X DIMA Dream School will run sessions in dance, vocals, and even video production. The programme is a joint effort by the Korean Cultural Center and South Korea’s Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA) — the same institute behind the success of stars from SEVENTEEN, ZEROBASEONE, and Kwon Eunbi.

 

Participants won’t just be copying routines. They’ll experience training from DIMA professors and student artists, learning performance skills the K-Pop way.

You’ll be dancing and singing along to hit tracks like:

  • BTS – I Need U
  • BLACKPINK – Jump
  • NewJeans – Super Shy
  • songs from K-Pop Demon Hunters

Each session is age-specific, so everyone from young kids to adult fans can get involved.

Wednesday, August 20 (for youth, ages 10-18)

  • Dance: 1 PM – 3 PM (HUNTR/X & BTS)
  • Vocal: 3 PM – 4:30 PM (HUNTR/X & BTS)

  • Dance: 1 PM – 3 PM (BLACKPINK)
  • Vocal: 3 PM – 4:30 PM (BTS)

Friday, August 22 (for kids, ages 7-10)

  • Dance Video Recording: 1 PM – 3 PM
  • K-POP Dance: 3 PM – 4:30 PM

 

This is DIMA’s first official visit to Abu Dhabi, marking a new chapter for K-Pop fans across the region. As the genre’s influence continues to grow in the Middle East, workshops like this show that the Hallyu wave is here to stay.
