With Ramadan coming to an end, getting to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is now easier. Extra transportation services have been introduced to help worshippers attend prayers, including free shuttle buses and additional taxis. Here’s what you need to know:
How to Get to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
- Free Shuttle Buses: 10 buses operate daily between Al Rabdan Bus Interchange and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. They are available for Taraweeh and late-night prayers during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
- Additional Taxis: 100 taxis are assigned daily for mosque visitors. More will be added as demand increases to ensure smooth travel.
Visitors can also enjoy free Iftar meals at the mosque. A team of over 425 people works daily to prepare and distribute meals before sunset. The number of diners reaches 30 thousand on weekdays, and weekend numbers are even higher, reaching 50 thousand meals. Menu includes rice with meat, fresh salads, soups, fruits, and drinks like ayran and orange juice.
With these transport options and meal services, worshippers can no longer worry about logistics during the end of the Holy Month. Whether you need a free shuttle, a taxi, or a meal after fasting, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has made it all more accessible during this sacred time.
