Abu Dhabi is embracing the spirit of Ramadan with Layali Ramadan, a vibrant open-air event on Saadiyat Island. Running throughout the Holy Month, this nighttime festival combines food, shopping, and entertainment, offering a perfect place to unwind and celebrate with family and friends.
At Layali Ramadan, food takes center stage. Expect a variety of delicious suhoor options from popular local spots like Aptitude Cafe, Derwandi, Estkanah Chai, Glaze Bake House, Lento, Lgymat & Rgag, and Treats. Whether you’re craving traditional Emirati flavors or contemporary bites, there’s something for every taste.

Beyond the food, Layali Ramadan offers a marketplace featuring fashion, handmade crafts, and artisanal goods. It’s a great chance to explore unique pieces from local brands and small businesses. It’s also a space for music, games, and cultural experiences. Enjoy live performances by local artists, or take part in traditional board games like carrom and backgammon.
On weekends, special workshops and live demonstrations will showcase Emirati heritage. You can try your hand at calligraphy, Al Talli embroidery, and henna art, or watch skilled artisans at work.
Layali Ramadan is open from 9 PM to 3 AM every night during Ramadan. Located near the Saadiyat Cultural District, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the season’s atmosphere, share suhoor with loved ones, and experience Abu Dhabi’s vibrant Ramadan nights.
