Superhero fans, here’s some great news! The Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) is back for its 13th edition, bringing a weekend packed with celebrity guests, entertainment, and everything pop culture. The event takes place from April 18 to 20 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, and if you get your tickets now you can meet some of the biggest stars in the movie industry!
MEFCC is kicking off its celebrity lineup with two big names from the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Fans of Netflix’s “Daredevil” will recognize Cox as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer-turned-vigilante, who will soon reprise his role in “Daredevil: Born Again,” premiering in March 2025 on Disney+.

D’Onofrio, known for his chilling portrayal of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, will also be making an appearance. Having played the character in “Daredevil,” “Hawkeye,” “Echo,” and the upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again,” he remains a fan-favorite villain in the Marvel universe.
But that’s not all! Star Wars legend Ian McDiarmid, best known as Emperor Palpatine, is also on the guest list. From his first appearance in “Return of the Jedi” (1983) to his recent role in “The Rise of Skywalker,” McDiarmid has been a key figure in the galaxy far, far away.

Anime fans are in for a treat too! Japanese voice actor Hideo Ishikawa — famous for voicing Itachi Uchiha in Naruto, along with roles in Death Note and Final Fantasy — is joining the lineup to meet his Middle Eastern fanbase.
