Ras Al Khaimah continues to attract global hospitality brands, with a new addition now confirmed for Al Marjan Island. The NH Collection Ras Al Khaimah Al Marjan Island Hotel and Apartments is scheduled to open in 2028 and will be designed by Dubai-based B8 Architecture.

The project marks another step forward in the emirate’s growth as a premium travel and investment destination. Operated by Minor Hotels — a group that already manages 17 hotels across the UAE — this will be the brand’s latest entry into the Middle East market.

The hotel will be located in a prime area, just an hour from Dubai International Airport and only 30 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. The property will include:

  • 120 beach-facing rooms and suites
  • 36 branded serviced apartments on Levels 8 and 9
  • Four restaurants and bars
  • A gym and outdoor swimming pool
  • Kids club, games room, shop and co-working space

Once open, it will join a growing list of premium developments planned for the island. These include Wynn Al Marjan Island, expected in March 2027, The Unexpected Hotels and Residences arriving the same year, and a 250-key Fairmont hotel in the works.

Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality sector is showing no signs of slowing down, and Al Marjan Island remains one of the most talked-about areas for future travel in the UAE.
