Qatar Confirms Eid Al Fitr 2025 Holiday Dates for Public Sector Employees

Qatar has officially announced the holiday schedule for Eid Al Fitr 2025. Public sector employees, including those working in ministries, government offices, and state institutions, will have time off from Sunday, March 30, to Monday, April 7. Work will resume on Tuesday, April 8.

Since weekends in Qatar usually fall on Friday and Saturday, this schedule effectively gives many employees an extended break of 11 days.

For banks, financial institutions, and businesses under the Central Bank’s supervision, the holiday schedule will be set separately by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Governor His Excellency Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani. The exact dates for these sectors will be announced through official channels.

This announcement helps employees and businesses plan ahead for travel, celebrations, and financial operations during the Eid period.
