Ramadan is a time for connection and celebration, and this year, Abu Dhabi is taking that spirit to the next level. Ramadan Festival 2026 is coming to three locations across the emirate. Whether you’re seeking cultural immersion, family fun, or a peaceful evening, the emirate’s got something truly special for you this holy month. Starting February 20, the festival opens in Al Ain and Al Dhafra, then heads to Abu Dhabi Corniche on February 27.
Each location will create its own “Ramadan neighbourhood,” where you can wander down lantern-lit pathways, shop for unique local handicrafts at the souq, and find special themed gifts.
Whether you’re spending time with friends, family, or enjoying solo time, there are plenty of activities and entertainment to match every mood. Cultural experiences will include traditional folk dances Al Ayala and Al Harbiyah, Arabic calligraphy, and storytelling sessions. There will also be live music and theatrical performances.

Kids can dive into fun activities like puppet shows, creative workshops, and games.
Food trucks will serve a variety of delicious options, from traditional Ramadan drinks to nourishing suhoor meals and savory snacks. Whether you’re looking for something light or a more satisfying meal, there will be plenty to enjoy.
