Hani Shaker is an Egyptian singer, actor, and composer. He was raised by a big music family, and grew up listening to singing greats like “Abdel Haleem Hafez.”
He joined the children’s choir when he was six, led by Dr. “Ratiba Al-Hafni,” and appeared on a number of TV and radio shows for children with “Mama Samiha,” and “Safaa Abu Al-Saud.” Building a career early, he was selected to act in the film “Sayyed Darweesh”.
He released his first full album, “Keda Bardo Ya Qamar,” in the mid-seventies, which ended up doing very well, and he followed that with the album “Ya Retak Maaya”, which sold more than 200,000 copies. His next effort, “Mayel Ya Hob”, included the hit song “Sadaqeeni.” read more
