Ragheb Alama is a singer, dancer, TV star, and a composer well-known in Lebanon and Asian countries. He was born and grew in the family with 7 Ragheb Alama`s siblings. Ragheb Alama`s parents were Muslim people, so the kids were brought up within strict religious rules.
The boy showed his passion for music when he was 8 years old. He began to play the Oud and took part in a radio program.
Alama became a popular singer after he had recorded "Betgheeb Betrouh" in 2000. In 2003 he released "Tab Leh" (Oh Why?) and his main track was on the top of charts for a couple of weeks.
In 2008 the singer released Baa'sha'ak album by his own company Backstage Production. The album received Platinum award by Virgin Megastores Dubai for showing the highest sales. In 2010 the singer cherished his fans with two more hits "Seneen Rayha" and "Betfell." Ragheb Alama was the head of jury for the new MBC show Arab Idol, a founder of Saint George School.
The singer is married. Ragheb Alama's wife Jihan al-Ali gave birth to his two sons. Ragheb Alama`s sons are Khaled (born 1998) and Louai (born 2001). There are a lot of rumors about Ragheb Alama's daughter but the singer confirmed that he had no other kids besides his sons.
