This 100 km scenic route, stretching through Dubai’s picturesque countryside, will be a haven for tourists, offering 37 unique activities spread across five themed stations. Each station will provide distinct experiences — ranging from desert sports and wildlife exploration to cultural heritage displays.

A few highlights of the Saih Al Salam Scenic Route include:

Extended Cycling Tracks

Cycling enthusiasts can soon enjoy an expanded track that stretches 157 km, connecting key natural attractions around Dubai, including the famed Al Qudra Lakes.

Adventure and Wildlife Stations

The master plan will divide the route into unique zones. The Adventure Station near Lake Expo will feature thrilling activities like dune buggies, sandy trails, and desert sports, while the Wildlife Station promises hot air balloon rides, luxury camping, and kayak tours near Flamingo Lake.

Cultural and Desert Experiences

Visitors can immerse themselves in traditional desert life at the Cultural Experience Station, which will offer camel rides, heritage-style Majlis, and desert safaris. At the Desert Adventure Station, adrenaline junkies can try sandboarding, sand skiing, and more.

Outdoor Cinema & Open-Air Markets

Near the Al Qudra Lakes, expect wellness camps, an outdoor cinema, and a lively marketplace. This promises to be a family-friendly hub blending entertainment and relaxation.

What’s more, the development will focus on sustainability by connecting key areas such as Al Marmoom and Saruq Al-Hadid Heritage Village through eco-friendly transportation routes, while supporting local farmers and producers. The project aims to significantly boost tourism and attract more than 3 million annual visitors by 2040 — a projected 600% increase!
