Taxi rides in Ajman will cost slightly more in February due to higher fuel prices, authorities announced. For the past two months, the fare remained the same, but starting this month, it will go up to AED 1.77 per kilometer. This is a small increase from the previous rate of AED 1.74 in December and January. Ajman regularly adjusts taxi fares based on monthly fuel price changes.
In February, fuel prices in the UAE have gone up, meaning drivers and commuters will see a slight rise in costs. Filling up a full tank will now be about AED 6 to AED 9 more expensive compared to January.
New UAE Petrol Prices for February 2025:
- Super 98 – AED 2.74 per litre (was AED 2.61)
- Special 95 – AED 2.63 per litre (was AED 2.50)
- E-Plus 91 – AED 2.55 per litre (was AED 2.43)
- Diesel – AED 2.82 per litre (was AED 2.68)
