If you’re arriving in Dubai this month, there’s a little extra waiting for you at immigration. Throughout Ramadan, visitors will receive a unique Ramadan-themed passport stamp and a free tourist SIM with 10GB of data.

For the second year in a row, Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs is adding a special touch to passports. The Ramadan stamp, designed by Brand Dubai (the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office), features the Ramadan In Dubai logo.

It’s available at all entry points, including Dubai International Airport, Dubai World Central, and Port Rashid Cruise Terminal.

The Ramadan In Dubai campaign highlights the city’s unique atmosphere during the holy month, creating a memorable experience for both residents and visitors.

How to Get Your Free 10GB Tourist SIM in Dubai during Ramadan

In addition to the stamp, travelers also receive a free eSIM loaded with 10GB of data. This SIM is available year-round and can be activated instantly after passing through immigration — no need to wait in line or swap out your personal SIM card.

Offered by mobile provider du, the eSIM is valid for 24 hours. If you need more data or call time, you can extend the plan starting from AED 49. Options include 4GB with 30 flexi minutes or even unlimited data with extensive call options.

The free tourist SIM is available to:

  • Visitors with a valid UAE entry visa
  • GCC nationals and GCC residents
  • Travelers aged 18 and above

Whether you’re in Dubai for business, sightseeing, or celebrating Ramadan, this free SIM makes it easier to stay connected. And if you’re visiting during Ramadan, the special passport stamp is a unique keepsake of your trip.
