Dubai Safari Park has officially announced it will close for the summer starting Sunday, June 1, marking the end of its sixth season. Known for housing over 3,000 animals, including 78 mammal species, 50 types of reptiles, and 111 varieties of birds, Dubai Safari Park has become one of the UAE’s top spots for wildlife experiences.
This past season was the park’s busiest yet, with visitor numbers increasing by 67 percent compared to previous years. The nocturnal safari in particular stood out, with every session of its four-week run completely sold out.

There’s also been good news on the conservation front. The park celebrated the birth of a rare white rhino calf and moon bear cub twins, highlighting the success of its breeding and conservation programmes.
Unlike last year, when the park stayed partially open for a limited number of visitors, Dubai Safari Park will fully close this summer to focus on animal care and preparing for a bigger reopening in October.

A portion of every ticket purchased at the park supports conservation efforts, both locally at the Safari Park and internationally. This ongoing commitment helps fund projects that protect endangered species like the white rhino.
When the park reopens later this year, visitors can expect new activations and a refreshed experience, as staff work behind the scenes to deliver the biggest season yet. If you plan visiting Dubai Safari Park in 2025, keep in mind these important dates:
- Last day of Season Six: Sunday, June 1, 2025
- Reopening for Season Seven: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
