During the awards ceremony, Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide, first presented FZN by Björn Frantzén as a newly starred restaurant. Then came the surprise moment — Poullennec returned to the stage to reveal that Tresind Studio had not just retained stars but had leaped to three Michelin stars.

Taking the stage to accept the honour, Chef Himanshu shared heartfelt thanks to his team, family, and Dubai, the city he credits with enabling this achievement. He also spoke about the restaurant’s current tasting menu, titled Rising India, designed to transport diners through the diverse culinary landscape of his home country. “It’s a mini trip to India,” he explained, highlighting Dubai’s unique position as a global crossroads for such storytelling.
