Dubai’s dining scene never stops evolving, and its latest addition offers a coastal Italian escape right in the city’s heart. MamaBella, a new restaurant opening in September in Kempinski The Boulevard, is set to bring a taste of Southern Italy to the heart of Downtown Dubai.
MamaBella is the newest concept from Gastronaut, the group behind the futuristic restaurant WOOHOO with world’s first AI chef. While WOOHOO pushes the boundaries of tech in dining, this unique restaurant introduces a heartwarming twist to Italian cuisine.
What makes MamaBella stand out is its concept of inviting real Italian grandmothers, or “nonnas,” to take center stage in the kitchen each month.
Each month, a different nonna will be flown in from Italy to prepare her signature dishes, passed down through generations. These dishes, including handmade pasta, regional favorites like lasagna, culurgiones, and seadas, as well as grilled lamb, will be made with the kind of passion and expertise that only a lifetime of cooking can bring.
MamaBella’s opening marks another step in Kempinski The Boulevard’s growing presence as a culinary destination. With both MamaBella and WOOHOO adding variety and depth to the hotel’s offerings, this Downtown address is quickly gaining ground among the city’s food-focused crowd.
