RTA Announces Parking Space Renovation in 3 Key Areas of Dubai

If you’re driving through some of Dubai’s older commercial districts, take note — the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced via official X account a new renovation project for parking spaces in select high-traffic areas of the city.

The renovation work will target these three locations:

Al Rigga
Al Sabkha
Al Souq Al Kabeer

While no timeline has been shared yet, the RTA is urging drivers to consider alternative travel options, particularly public transportation. If you’re driving in these areas, plan ahead and make use of Dubai Metro, buses, and other RTA services until the renovations are complete.
