Najwa Karam is set to take the stage in Dubai once again, bringing her signature voice and decades-long catalogue of hits to the city. The Lebanese singer, songwriter, and producer will perform at Dubai Opera on September 30.

Known for tracks like Maloun Abu El Eshq, Maghroumah, Ta’a Khabeek, Sho El Manea, Hayda Haki, Idak, and Aaskah, Karam remains a regular performer across the Arab world and international stages. Karam rose to fame in the 1990s, earning the nickname “Shams el-Ghinnieh” (The Sun of Song). Her 2017 album Menni Elak reached the Top 4 on iTunes worldwide and held the number one spot in the Middle East for five consecutive weeks. Her latest album, Halet Tawari’, was released in June 2025.

The singer has sold over 60 million records worldwide and has been named the highest-selling Lebanese artist multiple times, including in 1999, 2008, and 2011.

She gained further regional fame as a judge on Arabs Got Talent, appearing in all six seasons since her debut in 2011. In 2021, she was included in Forbes Middle East’s Arab Music Stars list, highlighting her as one of the 50 most streamed and followed artists in the region.
