Passengers travelling between emirates by bus can now stay connected on the go. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially completed the rollout of free Wi-Fi across its entire intercity bus fleet.
The update covers all 259 intercity buses that operate between Dubai and other emirates such as Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Fujairah. The service is powered by e& and is available for use on smartphones, tablets, and laptops throughout each journey.

This means passengers will now be able to browse the internet, check emails, or catch up on work while in transit — adding a level of convenience that many commuters have been waiting for.
The RTA stated that the Wi-Fi service will be continuously evaluated to maintain good performance and reduce buffering times. This follows previous efforts by the authority to offer free Wi-Fi at public bus stations and marine transport stations across Dubai.
With this rollout, the RTA continues to upgrade commuter experiences, especially for those who frequently travel between emirates for work or leisure.
