Dubai’s restaurant scene continues to grow, with new dining experiences popping up left and right, and DOTS is one to add to your must-try list. Opening this October in DIFC’s Al Fattan Currency House, DOTS marks the brand’s first-ever international venture, bringing its signature mix of food, art, and nightlife to Dubai.

DOTS describes itself as part art gallery, part party destination. During the day, you can enjoy the restaurant and bar experience, but come 11 PM, it transforms into an exclusive late-night club.

The interior design is set to be just as stylish as its concept. Expect soft shades of beige and pink, with warm lighting and creative use of shadows to create an intimate atmosphere. Art lovers will be thrilled with the venue’s artworks, including pieces from renowned artists like Michel Comte, Anselm Reyle, Ai Weiwei, and Erwin Wurm.

As for the menu, DOTS offers an exciting fusion of Asian and European flavours. You can look forward to robata grills, sushi, oysters, spicy salmon tartare, and much more.

Founded in 2005 by Martin Ho, the DOTS Group is already a major name in Austria’s hospitality scene, with restaurants, bars, clubs, and even an art gallery. With the Dubai location, DOTS is expanding its influence internationally, with plans for more locations in London, Miami, New York, and Ibiza in the coming years.

While we still have to wait a few weeks before DOTS opens its doors, there’s always something to explore in the city. If you’re craving more culinary adventures, be sure to check out the best new restaurants in Dubai in 2025 and see what’s new on the dining scene!
