Dubai’s dining scene is about to get a new heavyweight contender. UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov is opening Papakha, his very own restaurant and cafe, right in the heart of Downtown Dubai. The spot promises killer views of Burj Khalifa and a mix of cosy cafe vibes with a lively restaurant energy.

Papakha is a traditional men’s hat from the Caucasus and Central Asia, symbolising pride, courage, and honour. Khabib made it famous wearing it after his UFC victories, proudly representing his Dagestani roots. Now, he’s bringing that same pride to Dubai’s food scene.

While the menu and interior are still under wraps, Papakha is expected to blend modern elegance with rustic touches inspired by Dagestan’s mountains. Guests can look forward to hearty Dagestani flavours, comfort food, and, of course, top-notch coffee.

No official opening date has been set yet, but work on Papakha is in full swing. While waiting for the new venue to open, it’s worth exploring the city’s best new restaurants of 2025. Stay tuned for more updates and the latest news on Dubai’s dining scene.
