There’s something about November that makes it perfect for books, stories, and literary gatherings. And this year, Al Ain Book Festival 2025 is bringing that spirit to life with a week-long celebration from November 24 to 30.

Taking place at Al Ain Square – Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, the festival will once again fill the city with ideas, creativity, and conversation.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre and held under the patronage of Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, it continues to shine a light on Emirati authors and rising local talent. The goal is to keep the Arabic language thriving and make reading a bigger part of daily life.

This year’s programme will extend beyond the main venue, with events held at cultural landmarks such as Qasr Al Muwaiji and several educational institutions. Visitors can look forward to storytelling sessions, poetry readings, author talks, and workshops.

And if you’re in the mood for even more literary inspiration, you still have time to visit Sharjah International Book Fair 2025, which runs until the end of this week! It’s the region’s largest book event, known for drawing renowned authors and cultural figures from around the world. This year, actor Will Smith is among the special guests taking the stage, so you also have a chance to see him in person on Friday.

Stay tuned for more updates on cultural events in the UAE! There’s always something new worth discovering.
