If you don’t mind a short drive outside the city, Kuwait Geopark is now open and well worth the trip. It offers a fresh experience for anyone looking to explore nature, geology, and history. The park is located just north of Kuwait Bay and is a great spot for a family-friendly day out.
Inside, you’ll find rare sand injectites, formations that resemble the surface of Mars. Wander through Geological Timeline Wall to see how Earth has evolved over millions of years, or stop by Mineral Garden for an interactive experience with local minerals.
If spending the whole day at Kuwait Geopark, there’s no chance of getting hungry: there are kiosks offering snacks, ice cream, milkshakes, and sandwiches to keep you fueled during your visit.
The park features winding trails through diverse landscapes, each telling the story of how the land has evolved over time. And if you’re into stargazing, watching the desert night sky from the park’s platform will provide an unforgettable experience.
Kuwait Geopark is open from 2 PM to 11 PM on weekdays and 10 AM to 12 AM on weekends. It’s a great place to spend a few hours or the entire day.
If you’re looking for something else to do in Kuwait, don’t miss the exclusive Pilates classes hosted by Victoria Vicalates. The famous trainer will be in the city for 5 days only this January, so hurry up if you want to be coached by the best!
