If you’ve ever planned a meal around endless meat cuts, this news might sting. Texas de Brazil has permanently closed all locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and it happened without much warning.
The Brazilian-American steakhouse was a go-to for big portions, table-side churrasco, and long, indulgent dinners. With three busy branches across the UAE, it never felt like a place that was about to disappear. Things became official when all branches in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, and Yas Mall in the capital showed up as permanently closed on Google Maps.

So far, there’s been no official statement from the brand explaining the closures.
Even with Texas de Brazil gone, the city isn’t slowing down when it comes to new places to try. There’s plenty to look forward to: The Irish Vicker’s has opened a new branch in Dubai Creek, Barrafina is bringing modern Spanish flavours to DIFC, and L’Avenue is on the way for fans of French food with a view.
Stay tuned for more restaurant openings and city updates worth your attention.
