If you’re looking for somewhere to soak up the real Ramadan atmosphere with your family this year, this is one to put on your radar. Ramadan Nights is coming back to Umm Al Emarat Park, and it’s going to be a month of evenings filled with food, culture and time well spent together.

Every evening during Ramadan, the iftar cannon will signal the end of the fast. Iftar will be served daily in the Children’s Garden from 6 PM to 8.30 PM. Little ones under six can enter for free.

On Fridays and Saturdays, you’ll get the chance to visit pop-up Ramadan market from 8 PM to 1 AM. Here you can pick up something unique from small local businesses, grab a bite from food stalls, and just enjoy strolling through the park at night.

The same evenings are packed with activities for families: hakawati storytelling sessions, lantern-making workshops, interactive gaming stations, live Arabic music, and appearances by traditional characters.

If you’re in the mood for something more reflective, check out wellness programme in the Evening Garden:

  • Sound bath under the stars on February 18 at 5 PM
  • Full moon ceremony on March 4 at 8 PM

Such events make the holy month in the UAE so special. You can also check another Ramadan Festival in the emirate: it will be held in three locations including Abu Dhabi Corniche, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra.

And if you’re planning your calendar, here’s full guide to things to do during Ramadan in the UAE, from cultural events and community gatherings to Iftar tents and seasonal attractions across the country.
