If you’ve been thinking about a spontaneous trip somewhere different, this might be your sign. From February 15, 2026, visa-free entry to Azerbaijan becomes available for citizens of Oman. The arrangement expires in one year, so Omani passport holders have a chance to visit this country without paperwork and fees.

You can stay in Azerbaijan for up to 30 days per visit. During the one-year period, you’re allowed a maximum of three separate entries. That means you could plan a quick city break, come back later in the year for another trip, and still have one more visit in hand if you want it.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind before heading to Azerbaijan :

  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date you enter the country
  • You also need health insurance that covers your entire stay

If you’re keeping track of where Omani passport holders can travel without paperwork, a few other countries announced visa-free entry in 2025. Armenia offers up to 180 days within 12 months, and China also allows stays of up to 30 days. It’s worth your attention if you enjoy discovering new places without complicated paperwork.
