One of the UAE’s largest companies is stepping in to support small businesses with visibility. Majid Al Futtaim has launched an initiative that gives UAE entrepreneurs and homegrown brands access to its retail network at no cost. The focus is on helping smaller businesses reach more people without the usual barriers.
For one month, selected brands will get free physical space across key locations, including Mall of the Emirates, THAT Concept Store, VOX Cinemas, and Carrefour.
The support also includes digital exposure. Selected brands will be featured on SHARE, Majid Al Futtaim’s loyalty programme, where millions of users browse and shop on a daily basis.

Applications are open through the Ma’an section on Majid Al Futtaim’s website.
Support for small businesses is showing up by other companies too. Recently, talabat has announced an initiative offering 100 rent-free spaces for local restaurants for six months.
During these times, kindness is taking different forms in the UAE, and it’s not only large companies stepping in. Anyone can be a hero. One of the initiatives you can participate in is a pay-it-forward platform that allows anyone to buy a coffee or a simple meal for a stranger.
