If you drive an electric car, finding a place to charge while you’re out can still take some planning. It’s about to get easier, especially during a day at the park or the beach. Dubai Municipality has announced a plan to install EV supercharging stations in 600 public parking spaces, including parks, beaches, and recreational areas.
Instead of making a separate stop to charge your car, you will be able to plug in and enjoy time outdoors. You might be walking along a waterfront, taking the kids to a play area, or stopping for a break near the beach.
The first phase includes 75 supercharging stations across 150 parking bays, with installation planned over the next two years.
If you live in Dubai, you’ll soon notice more positive changes, with plans focused on expanding parks, beaches, and everyday outdoor spaces as a part of Dubai’s Green and Blue Spaces Roadmap 2030.
