After nearly two months of halted flights, the skies are open again. Kuwait International Airport has officially resumed operations, marking the end of a temporary closure. Flights will come back step by step, with a controlled and gradual approach.

The first phase starts with Terminals 4 and 5 reopening on Sunday, April 26. Flights will begin with a few selected destinations, then more routes will be added step by step, based on ongoing checks.

According to Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Al Sabah, the restart has been planned in coordination with both local and international authorities.

While some destinations may not be available yet, there’s still plenty to do locally. Kuwait Geopark is open for visits, and Kuwait Towers Garden welcomes visitors until May 14.
