If your child loves gaming, videos or spending time online, there’s now a fun new spot in Dubai that turns internet safety into play. Kaspersky and KidZania Dubai have launched an interactive Cybersecurity Centre where kids can solve digital challenges and learn practical online safety skills through games.
If you’ve already been to KidZania, you probably know the drill: kids step into real-world jobs, try different activities and spend the day learning through play. The new experience puts kids in the role of cyber detectives.
They’ll investigate digital clues, spot online threats and work through cybersecurity cases using interactive simulations and hands-on activities.
According to a recent Kaspersky survey, 89% of parents in the UAE said they could imagine their children working as IT specialists in the future. The new place introduces children to these careers at an early age. The activities focus on things kids deal with every day online, including:
- Safe browsing
- Recognising online risks
- Understanding digital safety
- Building healthy online habits
For children who already love puzzles, gaming or anything tech-related, Cybersecurity Centre could easily become one of the most popular stops inside KidZania Dubai. If it’s been a while since your last visit, this might be the perfect excuse to book your tickets and rediscover the mini city with more than 70 activities.
