If you’re always looking for a new restaurant to try in Dubai, add this one to your watchlist. ROKA is opening a second location in the city. The popular Japanese dining brand is heading to Palm Jumeirah with a rooftop venue overlooking the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline.
ROKA at Six Senses The Palm Dubai will focus on the same robatayaki experience. If you haven’t heard of it, robata grilling uses high heat over charcoal.
Many other beloved dishes are expected to be on the menu, including yellowtail sashimi, premium sushi and sashimi selections, and robata-grilled seafood and meats.

The menu will also feature signature cocktails, wine, and Japanese-inspired drinks.
ROKA has not announced an opening date yet, but if you’re a fan of Japanese food and rooftop dining, keep an eye out for updates.
Meanwhile, Dubai has no shortage of restaurants that pair great food with great views. If you’re looking for somewhere new to try, check out Noia by the Pool, a new rooftop spot for Greek cuisine in Dubai, or TakaHisa, the cult Japanese restaurant that’s opened a new location in Downtown Dubai with impressive skyline views.
