Yas Island’s Yas Waterworld has just announced a massive 16,900 sqm expansion! The news came from Miral, the visionary force behind Abu Dhabi’s top destinations,
Scheduled for completion in 2025, the expansion plans are nothing short of epic. Brace yourselves for a whopping 3.3 km of slide sections that promise to increase the park’s guest capacity by a staggering 20%.
The expansion will make way for 18 new rides and attractions that will take the total ride count to over 60.
Here’s the biggest news. As part of the expansion, Yas Waterworld will become home to the UAE’s highest slide and the GCC’s first amusement ride in a water park integrated into a waterslide complex. Imagine a slide that boasts a 15-meter-high drop – now that’s what we call an adrenaline-pumping ride!
For the past decade, Yas Waterworld has been hosting visitors to its ‘The Legend of the Lost Pearl,’ theme park, weaving the rich tapestry of the UAE’s pearl-diving heritage into every splash.
