Still haven’t checked off Abu Dhabi’s top museums? Here’s your moment. For three days only, the capital’s biggest landmarks are free to enter. From May 16 to 18, you can walk into Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi without paying for a ticket.

The free entry is part of International Museum Daym traditionally celebrated in May. The event began in 1977. Now, more than 140 countries mark the occasion, and the 2026 theme, “Museums Uniting a Divided World,” reflects that global connection.

Already booked a ticket for one of those days? You can request a refund or switch to another date, so the plan doesn’t go to waste.

Three days, three iconic spots, zero entry cost. Hard to find a more attractive plan.

More Museums in Abu Dhabi Worth Your Time

If you’re already planning a museum stop, it’s worth adding a couple more to your list. A visit to Qasr Al Watan gives you access to the Presidential Palace, where you can walk through its grand halls. If you want a non-typical museum experience, step into teamLab Phenomena, where digital installations react to your movement.
