School holidays are almost here, and Abu Dhabi has plenty of ways to keep kids busy, active, and learning something new.
DCT Abu Dhabi’s summer camp programme includes options for museums, art, movement, heritage, crafts, and activities. All camps are open to children aged 5 to 14. Each camp costs AED 500 per child per week, with multiple-week discounts available.
1. The Story of Us
For kids who ask a lot of questions.
Children move between three museums: Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Zayed National Museum.

Campers also visit teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, where digital artworks react to light, movement, and the surrounding space.
- Dates: July 6 to August 7
- Timings: 9:30 AM to 3 PM
For a family visit outside the camp, you can also book museum pass or separate tickets.
2. Once Upon an Art Camp
For children who love making things.
The camp includes visits to Manarat Al Saadiyat’s Art Studio, the Cultural Foundation’s Children’s Art Centre, and Bait Al Khatt. Children get to try painting, printmaking, ceramics, storytelling, visual arts, and traditional Arabic calligraphy.

- Timings: 10 AM to 2 PM
3. Traditions in Motion
For kids who love dancing, singing, performing, and staying active.
The camp takes children to Bait Al Oud and Cultural Foundation, with activities linked to stage performance, international dance, traditional dance, Indian dance, crafts, and instrument making.

4. The Legacy Camp Abu Dhabi
For kids who enjoy stories from the past, old buildings, crafts, and practical challenges.
Children will visit Qasr Al Hosn, House of Artisans, and Al Maqta’a Museum and participate in activities like traditional crafts, bridge-building challenges, and engineering-inspired workshops.

5. The Legacy Camp Al Ain
The Legacy Camp Al Ain takes children through Qasr Al Muwaiji, Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa, and Al Ain Museum. Campers explore Emirati values, traditional crafts, archaeology, aflaj systems, oasis life, and historic fort architecture.
