Travelling to the Caucasus just got a whole lot easier for UAE residents. Air Arabia, the UAE-based low-cost airline, has expanded its Abu Dhabi operations, adding more flights to Baku in Azerbaijan and Tbilisi in Georgia.
Air Arabia’s New Flight Schedule to Baku and Tbilisi
- Abu Dhabi to Baku (Azerbaijan)
Now flying six times a week – every day except Mondays – between Zayed International Airport and Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku - Abu Dhabi to Tbilisi (Georgia)
Starting August 7, the airline will increase to eight flights per week, including two flights on Thursdays to meet rising demand

Air Arabia’s New Destination in Russia Starting October 27
The budget airline is launching direct seasonal flights from Zayed International Airport to Yekaterinburg, Russia, starting October 27 – and it’s the perfect opportunity to explore the gateway to the Ural Mountains.
- Scheduled twice a week: on Mondays and Fridays
- The flight takes a bit over six hours
- These seasonal flights will run until March 27, 2026

This news also comes shortly after Etihad Airways announced 7 new destinations, with the first flights launching in November 2025 — further boosting Abu Dhabi’s international reach.
