Al Salam Cycling Championship is back for its 10th edition at the end of 2025. The event has earned its reputation as the world’s largest community cycling race thanks to its diversity and impressive prize pool. In 2025-2026, there will be four races on the calendar, each catering to different types of cyclists.
Here’s a look at the main races of the championship:
- Emirati Amateur Men Race (December 28, 2025). This race is exclusively for UAE nationals aged 19 or older
- Elite Race (January 18, 2026) open to top-tier cyclists
- Women’s Race (January 25, 2026). Participants must be either UAE citizens or hold a valid UAE residence permit
- Open Desert Race (January 31 to February 1, 2026), a two-day event for cyclists of various levels
Al Salam Cycling Championship has grown to become one of the biggest cycling events in the region, promoting fitness and community spirit while showcasing Dubai’s natural beauty. The race routes will take cyclists through the beautiful Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable event.
Registration for all races, except the Women’s Race, opens on November 1. Registration for Women’s Race opens on December 5.
