If your perfect plan includes sea views, slow lunches and Italian food, there’s a new dining spot that feels like a mini escape to southern Italy. aMaRe Capri Dubai has opened at Jumeirah Al Naseem, and it’s all about the flavors of Naples.

Book a table overlooking the water and you’ll quickly understand why this is the kind of place for “just one more dish, per favore.”

The menu focuses on Neapolitan cuisine. Pizza is a main part of the experience: Marinara, Caprese, Tartufo, or Tonno, to name a few classics. The dough follows the traditional Naples style, soft in the centre with a slightly crisp edge.

If pizza isn’t your thing, there’s plenty more. Linguine alla Nerano features pasta with fried zucchini and cheese, a well-known in southern Italy. Spaghetti con Astice is served with lobster. You’ll also see plates like Eggplant Parmigiana baked with tomato and cheese, grilled octopus, Neapolitan-style meatballs in sauce, and fresh seabass.

If you’re on a roll with new Italian spots, you’ll probably also want to check out other recently opened spots like Falcone, Carbone and Osteria Gloria. Dubai’s appetite for good pasta and proper pizza clearly isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
